Tigers place seventh at golf state championship

The Farmington High School golf team finished 7th in the 2016 NHIAA Division IV Golf Championship at Waukewan Golf Club in Center Harbor, N.H. on Thursday, October 6.
Junior Jake Squires paced the Tigers with an 89 and made the cut for Saturday's final round, while senior Joey Diprizio shot a 99 in the final match of his FHS career.
Farmington entered the tournament as the sixth seed in Division IV after posting a regular-season mark of 10-9.
The Tigers, under head coach Kevin Mosher, made their first tournament appearance since 2010, when they were coached by the late Dave Mosher.
